mdlscouting
I know that the Outdoor activity patch goes over the pocket flap... How do you sew that on, without blocking the ability to button the pocket? Also, the patch is actually bigger than the pocket flap itself. (possibly because my son is in a small shirt) What i was thinking was that it would be best to just sew the top and sides of the patch onto the pocket, ad leave the bottom side unsewn, to allow access to the button. How have others sewn that patch on?
pbmartin70
You're exactly right. You just want to sew the top and two sides and leave the bottom open. It's the exact same way that an OA flap patch goes on.

rjscout
That's how I did it too. Glad that I did it like a few others. Great minds????
Pack212Scouter
I sewed my son's on all four (five...) sides. It is probably not as easy to use as using just three sides, but I found that the pocket could still be buttoned & unbuttoned under it.
