Margaret in CO
Is the new Centennial recruiter patch a temporary patch or does it take the place of the old rectangular patch?
emb021
Not sure what 'rectangular patch' you are refering to. If you mean the 'recruiter strip', which I haven't seen in years, I think the centennial recruiter patch, if its fairly sizable, would be treated like a temporary patch and go on the right pocket. click23
I have seen it, but cannot find a picture of it right now. If I remember correctly it is much larger than the old recruiter strips, I would say it goes on the right pocket as a temporary patch.
Margaret in CO
Yes, I meant the strip. It's still around as my ds has one. He earned his new Centennial one and we have two other boys that will be earning theirs, so am trying to track down where he should put it. Council doesn't really know, so for now, we're calling it a temp.
SMsteve
We had the same question and landed in the same place, temporary insignia (right pocket wear, etc.) Only took 3 DE's and a handful of volunteers to figure it out.
struax
As with the old Recruiter Strip, it goes UNDER the pocket Recruiter strip, cloth, No. 00219, Cub Scout, below right pocket. scott
