pack3311
Hi, does anyone know the name of the indian song that honors the boy scouts? We attended a Powwow this weekend and were honored to be asked to dance with them in the council ring. They told us the name of it but I had forgotten it before I was able to write about it in our newsletter. If anyone knows this or can steer me in the right direction to find out I'd sure appreciate it. Yours in Scouting K Mullins
PaPete
They have several songs unless the drum made up one to honor you. They probably did a song related to the dance that was being done. To find out what song they used you would have to ask the drum. The singers are known as the drum and they wold be either southeran or northeran. pack3311
Thanks for the reply Papete. I have some more information on that song. It was given to the Order of the Arrow in 1981. That's all I can remember after searching through the cob webs all day LOL
