prairie
Using a machine I can set up a new uniform in ten minuets, arthrities keeps me from doing much hand sewing. Get enough handwork using the seam ripper. We have a pair of boys who have half their patchs held on with safety pins, and only that because there was a question about positioning. beeprepared
I do think there should be a boy scout or cub scout patch for sewing. I agree it is a necessary skill to learn. They learn the food pyramid, how to use a pocket knofe, how to tie knots, why not learn how to sew on buttons, a patch, do a little repair? What do we do to get this to be a badge or part of an achievement?
