ffspiel
Greetings all, This is my first post, thanks for any help you can provide. My son attended the WSJ in England this past summer. I purchased a few collectibles some through the BSA (by telephone) and also purchased what they refer to as a "07 WSJ Bucket Hat" (#13207) during a visit to the Van Nuys, CA council gift store. What's the probablility of finding out the original vendor that manufactured this hat (...that I may procure some for our fire department)? Any thoughts on what my chances are of finding out? ... emb021
If it was a BSA WSJ item, it was 'made' by National Supply. They would be the source of finding out who made it for them. But I don't they've give out that info. AFAIK, get the catalogs from various suppliers of such hat/shirts, etc. You might find the same item in their catalogs of items you can order. infoscouter
Many textile items sold in the United states have an 'RN' number on the tag as a means of identifying the manufacturer (versus the brand name or distributor). If the hat has an RN number, you can search here by number, to identify the maker: https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/TextileRN/wrnquery$.startup
