AvidSM
I noticed a picture of Jack White of the heavy metal duo, White Stripes, on the internet. See link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070918/ap_en_ot/music_white_stripes_tour_3;_ylt=AoPgalzISNzZFRHKBMAfphzBaMYA Is he wearing the official BSA jac-shirt with Philmont Bull patch? On White Stripes web site, it seems that the color red is very predominant. It may be that he just likes the jac-shirt for it''s color and has no idea what it is. GernBlansten
Wow, good eyes. I was devastated at the cancel of their tour. Never have a duet produced such a high quality sound since the Smothers Brothers. I bet he picked up the jac at a rummage store, surely he could never have treked Philmont. Just look at his eyes. BadenP
Don''t let F-Scouter see that pic he will give his usual diatribe about the improper wearing of the scout uniform again, lol

CalicoPenn
The White Stripes only wear the colors Red, White and Black while on band business. The black and white Philmont bull on the red jac shirt certainly fits in with the motif.
Hunt
Well, he was an altar boy, so he may have been a Boy Scout. But I suspect that it did come from a thrift shop or something--I notice that the BSA emblem is not there. P.S. Jack White is an excellent guitar player. I really dig his stuff. P.P.S. Is there anything improper about wearing the jac-shirt with non-uniform clothes? Can it only be worn as part of a uniform?
GernBlansten
I suggest sending an APB out to the UP to get the 411 on the wacko in the jacko.
