Seeking Replacement for Old "God and Country Medal"

My name is Jack. Two other scouts and I earned the OLD Protestant God and Country Medal circa 1978/79?. The old program was discontinued during the time we were going through the program and as we were told, we received the last three issued medals in the country. It was and still is one of my most prized mememtos of my youth. It was stolen along with all my other scouting medals in a break-in during 1989. I was issued a replacement for my Eagle medal but all the trail medals and my prized "God and Country" were gone, gone, gone.

 

I would love to replace the medal.

 

Does anyone have any good ideas?

I'm sorry about your lost medal. But, with a little patience you can probably find a replacement on eBay (America's garage sale).

I am saddened to hear of the theft but welcome to the forums. I sympathize because a favorite uncle was flimflammed out of all the family military medals a number of years back. I haven't felt very good about collectors since. I'd give you mine but I feel the same way about that medal as I do about my eagle.

I agree with Trevorum. Keep watching eBay. I am amazed at the stuff that pops up there. You may even get to bid on your own stolen items.
