VH_50
I am (as a working writer) not one to take copyright lightly, and would never urge anyone to support video piracy. . . BUT: Disney is far from being the wronged innocent here. They have ruthlessly pushed (on more than one occasion, if memory serves) to have copyright law rewritten so that valuable Disney properties (e.g. Mickey Mouse) that *would* have passed into the public domain in the 1990s or early 2000s remain under copyright. I don't object if they want to manipulate the market by (say) creating an artificial scarcity of _Bambi_ tapes by releasing it for three years and then pulling it for ten . . . but it mightily annoys me that they (and their fans in Congress) are willing to rearrange the law for the same purpose. Bob58
Okay, this one might fall back on the volunteers 1000 e-mails w/ accurate info would be best but.... Hey professional types, can we check into the 5 W's of the showing in Utah and actually get something going here? If this was a re-mastered film they didn't do just one copy or if they did... who actually owns it? apgoodb, it might be up to you to make some calls and get this rolling. red feather
Just a stray thought, wonder if BSA National has enough clout to get it offered through the catalog? What do you think National? yis
berkshirescouter
The movie will be re-released by Disney in Feb 2004. It is already listed on Amazon.com list $20.00 discount about $16.00.
SMT376Richmond KY
Actually went to amazon.com trail day. You enter your email address and they will send note to Disney as to how many they have on waiting list. There was nothing there about release in Feb 2004. Plus they only had DVD format. perhaps the best thing to do is for all of us to submit for a copy at amazon cause they want the $$ too if national has not clout.
