Eamonn
The uniform most of us wear most of the time is known as the Field Uniform. The Activity dress is the same thing minus the Field Uniform Shirt with a Scout type T-shirt instead.I have seen in black and white that the Activity uniform is: Scout Socks, Scout Shorts, Scout Belt, and this T-shirt. My dumb question is can BSA uniform long pants be worn in place of the shorts? Eamonn
Fat Old Guy
As Bob White would say, "use what it written and don't try to read into it." So the answer is, "No, long pants may not be worn with the activity uniform." So much for winter hiking.
Bob White
Sure Eamonn, it's not a problem. The impotant thing is that all the uniform elements are present: shirt, pants or shorts, belt, socks. Uniform pants are fine just as a long sleeve t-shirt, sweat shirt, or polo shirt is acceptable. Remember, There are no dumb questions...unlike answers. Eamonn
Thanks Bob. I always say that the only dumb question is the one that you didn't ask!! Eamonn
AK-Eagle
Seen over a first aid kit in a machine shop I worked at once.... "Dumb questions can prevent dumb mistakes" I think it's placement was the strongest part of the message Phil
