PostmasterSteve
Where does one place the totin' chip patch and the fireman chit patch. It looks as though they go on the lower edge of the pockets? Can any one advise me? Thanks Steve
dsteele
PostmasterSteve: Actually, they don't go on the uniform at all. I wasn't even aware there is a patch for the fireman chit -- but the Uniform Insignia Guide is clear on what goes where. Put them proudly on a patch vest or blanket. Welcome to the forums! Unc. Fat Old Guy
In my council, the custom is to wear them on the flap of the right pocket. If both the Totin' Chip and the Firem'n Chit are worn, they are both on the right pocket flap but overlapped so the bottom of the back one peeks out and can be read.
