Tim-PY
I am new here so I hope it is okay to post a question about LSA info. I bought some years ago now a large collection of BSA items and amongst them I believe this patch was with it although it doesn''t seem to be a BSA patch. It is quite old, I would guess early 1900''s. Here is a link to view it in hopes that someone can tell me what it is. Thank you, Tim-PY If the link doesn''t work please let me know. local1400
Link worked ok. Not sure what it is. Could even be a camp patch. Could be non-Scout related. There are several different websites that deal directly with Scout patches and etc.
Tim-PY
Thank you local1400, I have checked many sites, my search continues! I am hoping someone can give a positive ID one way or the other. I believe something I once found on-line resembled a LSA item, can''t remember when or where exactly but just dug it out again recently. Thank you, Tim-PY
Gunny2862
Have you looked into the possibility that is might be an Army brigade patch?
Tim-PY
I wondered about an early military patch, do you think that is what it might be? Thank you, Tim-PY

captainron14
Sorry, not a LSA or BSA patch. This is a US Army unit patch belonging to the 98th Infantry Division (now Institutional Training). It is a Army Reserve Unit out of Rochester NY. It was active during WW2. The border of the current patch is gold. For more info see: http://www.armyreserve.army.mil/USARC/DIV-IT/0098DIV-IT/0098_DIV-IT_History.htm
