RED BERET

I'm looking for a boy scout issue red beret..

or a felt hat..

size xl or larger.. " TO WEAR " I've saw a few on e-bay,but with no luck.. I have a lot of cool old scout stuff to swap around..some real old, some new..

Back in the day when red berets were the official uniform, I purchased several from non-BSA sources. Frankly, I could never figure out how BSA got stuck with arguably the worst ever made beret! Anyway, I always got them from Military uniform outlets, surplus places etc. Many drill teams, university ROTC groups etc wore the red berets (and many other colors) until very recently. good luck, jim

I've got an original red BSA beret. It's one of the top pieces in my small but growing collection. It may be a bit tuff for me to get rid of but you may have something else that sparks my interest. You can post on here or shoot me an email with some ideas. hope to hear from you soon.

Check out local surplus stores. They may have red berets you could buy and then you could add a Boy Scout emblem of some sort. I plan to get one from imsplus.com. They have a store near where I live.
