Too many Council Camps?

Recommended Posts

Camp Brinkley is pretty much flat. Camp Pigott is built on the side of a hill and you are pretty much climbing or descending pretty much anywhere you go.

Tell me about it! - we were at the Mt. Pilchuck campsite, which is at the top of the hill. Up the hill, down the hill. Up the hill, down the hill. I think we earned a Billy Goat award or something. Brinkley is just for Cub Scouts now, isn't it?

Camp was at capacity, but aside from the dining hall, the swim test, and the parking lot on the last day as everyone tried to leave, I didn't really notice the crowding. Seemed like there was plenty of staff, enough capacity at the activities, etc. There wer occasionally lines at the rifle and archery ranges, but overall I think they were able to put on a good program even at capacity.
