Recently a Troop in COL was evicted from their meeting place due to the new policy change, is this happening all over the country or is this just a few incidents? I also found a very interesting site, http://www.traillifeusa.com/ this is an alternative to the BSA do you think that this is stealing many boys or just a few? I personally find this new organization disturbing for many different reasons.The first is their oath which is a dead ringer of the boy scout, and then their "to respect authority" and then their accepting, any religion even for example a Muslim Wahabist but not allowing a Christian homosexual boy in. This was also one of my issues with BSA before they changed it. So my question is, what has the fallout been in your area due to policy change and will this new organization hurt the BSA?

These issue won't stop until BSA allows gay scout masters, make no mistake they don't care about gay rights it's just a way to destroy the BSA. So what must we do? It's simple they must lift the gay ban, then the issue is over. However, I have heard a good deal of grumbling from people who dislike the new policy, and this has even allowed new organizations to form.

I feel sorry for the kid, but he should completely cut his ties with this troop. He should also leave his so called "friends" behind if they weren't willing or have the backbone to stick up for him. I see a problem with this also "only (still) waiting for his Eagle BOR" are the people in his old troop making it more difficult to attain eagle and does he want to receive such a huge honor among people that want to make his life miserable? Also why won't he be able to keep his old friends. Will they dump him if he doesn't stay in their troop? If so these people aren't worth his time if they won't defend him or make the right decision. Finally if this new troop has given him so much more why wouldn't he want to get eagle their, and finally if I saw such a thing happen in my troop there would be serious consequences and if I were in this situation I would leave and find another troop. Of course in my district there are many troops to join might not be the same else were. P.S. sorry for the long ramble post.
