I have two sets of the poly-wool uniforms. They are great for courts of honor or other more formal occasions when the individual scouter wants to wear a field uniform but doesn't want the uniform to look like it is primarily for camping. The material is thinly woven. It is not designed for camping or outdoors.
I would recommend that you have a tailor or a seamstress sew on the insignia. The trousers come unhemmed and you may need to have the shirt sleeves altered to fit. The uniform has to be professionally dry cleaned. It looks great and presents great image when properly altered, cleaned and pressed. I wear it with a BSA (old style) leather belt and brown plain toe oxfords.
