A Christian did write a book, it is out there, called "Leadership is Male". It has all the Biblical references there. The term "misogyny" is a new term created by feminists in order to undermine and attack patriarchy. For OGE to use the term is to agree with their ideology. On another website, I have been promoting the Boy Scouts as a way to train boys to men. Now, I have come to the conclusion that the BSA program is riddled with socialist modalities and terminologies. I also went through this process at a "Strategic Planning" Committee for the Battle Creek Catholic Schools here in Battle Creek. I mentioned the word "Virtue" and was soundly drowned out. At St. Joseph's ChurchI went to Father O'Leary and said look it is right here in Scripture. His reply to me was "St. Paul is a misogynist". I went to the head of the Battle Creek School System and said the same thing. I heard the same reply, "St. Paul is a misogynist". When Christian leaders start by demeaning and attacking apostles with even using feminist terminology, something is wrong. I left the Catholic Church immediately. If the Church itself starts attacking its founders then it has lost its "marbles". Socialism is everywhere and so is Feminism. It is curious that NJCub Scouter says "Women no longer had to choose between being a nurse or teacher or not working at all..."" Curious he says that. Why? We now have a nursing shortage. We are 400,000 nurses short in this country. The quality of health care is now in jeopardy. Why? because everybody listens to the liberals dictate policy. You are breaking scripture and you will pay the price. Health Care is failing because we believe in unisexism and we do not "restrict the manly function" from the woman. He footnotes the above to page 250, "Michael Rosenthal claims: "For Scouting was from the very beginning conceived as a remedy to Britian's moral, physical, and military weakness--conditions that the Boer war seemed to announce-especially to Tory politicians, social imperialists, and military leaders-were threatening the Empire (The Character Factory: Baden-Powell and the Origins of the Boy Scout Movement [London:Collins, l986], 3)" The Boy Scouts are about curing effeminacy among men and masculinizing men.

When two Greek words have the same ending like Palios Xristos the verb "is" is assumed. Palios is the subject and Xristos is the predicate. Palios is not an adjective of Xristos. It is not Old Christ. It is "The Old is Golden". To Bob White: We have just witnessed how judges are making law left and right. They do want ever they want to do irregardless of the original law. Leon Podles is a Roman Catholic with six sons. In his book, on page 177 he talks of the Boy Scouts. He devotes three pages to this topic. His son is in the Boy Scouts. He has a PHD. Palios Xristos is in English "Old is Golden". It is in the parable of old wine in new wineskins. Xristos in the Greek means Golden. Xristos is also applied to Jesus i.e. Christ is English for Xristos and St. John Chrysostomos, i.e. St. John the Golden mouthed. Xristos is the Greek for the Hebrew word annointed.

I must be talking to a group of Pharisees and Saducees. In the mission and vision statements of the BSA is the word "value". The word virtue appears in the Federal Charter and not the word value. "Value" does not at all have the same meaning of the term virtue. The word is from classical times and unless one understands the milleu one cannot understand the meaning of the word. Never in conscious understanding of the 25 years of my adult christianity have I ever heard this word preached on. Never. Mr. Hunt I gave plenty of sources for the correct meaning of the word effeminate. At least, I count four quotes from Church Fathers in that post who use the word. It doesn't sound that they had trouble using or understanding the word. I question your reading comprehension. Crudens Concordance had no trouble defining the idea of the word. What's your trouble? I am putting this post here to demonstrate the correlation between the effeminancy and the founding idea of the Boy Scout Organization. From the l948 Copyright Handbook for Boys pg6. Titled: HOW SCOUTING BEGAN "...A young British army officer, Robert Baden-Powell, was stationed in the wild South African country to train new soldiers from England in the skills of tracking, trailing, and wilderness living. "HE FOUND THAT HIS MEN WERE SO USED TO CITY LIVING THAT THEY COULD NOT STAND THE VIGOROUS LIFE OF THE OUTDOORS." What were this young Bristish city boys? They were effeminate. They were not rugged. Vigourous is synonomous with Ruggedness. The Boy Scout program came from this observation. The Program at its fundamentals was to "RIGORIZE" boys so that they could live out of doors. To make boys hardy and rugged. The page from the 1911 Boy Scout handbook is a picture of hardiness and ruggedness. Iron sharpens Iron. What is "Hardy and Rugged" do? It masculinizes MEN. When this organization brings females into the program they are naturally participating in this process of masculinization whether they know it or not. This is the core of the Boy Scout Program.

I stand corrected on the why of the charter. From the l948 Handbook for boys, pg 447 "On June 15, 1916, because they had proved themselves such useful citizens, Congress granted a Federal Charter to the Boy Scouts of America, protecting the name and insignia, and authorizing the Scout uniform so that no one but Scouts might use the uniform of Scouting." But on pg 446, "The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated on Feb. *, l910". Are these incorporation documents also on line???? OGE do you have your magic? If not, these incoporation documents would also be helpful from Irving TX. The Federal Charter solved one clue on the usage of the word 'virtue' in the BSA, it is not a complete picture. What other original documents are there? I would like to view them.

But this is a document for you Marty Doyle (and for the yahoos at headquarters). Knowledge is to define. From thence, just take the definition of truth and say Truth is the faithful representation of truth. They can remember that and memorize that. As they grow older more parts are dribbled out and when they reach first class they can handle this as a learning experience. "Being a Man" is non-existant. The word Man does not appear either in the modern Scout handbook. The question remains Why? Why the change? The new documents surely point to a fundamental change within the Boy Scout organization. No, there is something going on here. Is "being a Man" something terrible to be or something proud to be? These two statements from two different books "Being a man" show the mentality and philosophy of the Boy Scout Program! They came from somewhere????? The current mission and vision statements are nothing but the whitewashing of history!

Iraq was the next logical step. The fallacious argument of Weapons of Mass Destruction and their imminent threat of use was the perfect ruse to manipulate public opinion and congress into going for war. Iraq had great strategic significance for the growing globalization plans. The seizing of Iraq is about the splitting of the Muslim World in two. It was about isolating Iran from the rest of the Muslim World and Islolating Saudia Arabia from the eastern half of the Muslim World. It is about controlling movement among them especially the poorer half that travelled by bus and ground. The seizure of Iraq is just like when a doctor inserts a needle to apply medicine into the body. This about inserting a immoral vulgar "democracy" in order to "infect" the Muslim world in order to enervate with so-called "freedom" to obtain pornography and the free license of "artisits" to undermine Islamic Religious teaching. Enervating the men into forsaking the teaching of God for "freedom". This is quite a coup. Iraq was perfect. Saddam because of his tyranny nobody would object with his taking down. His brutality gave legitamacy and cover for their other sublime objectives. The Iraqis as a people, most of them being non-religious, are ripe for democritization and its concommitant effects of puerility and immorality. They are hoping that this immorality will seep into Iran and Saudi Arabia thus rendering men soft, lazy and effeminate. Thereby ending all resistance to Globalization.

The two stars symbolize the ideals of truth and knowledge which are the foundations of strong Scout citizenship. These stars guide the Scout (1) Nature, herself, dictates the importance of these two words. When one is in a survival mode, the truth and knowledge of which plants are dangerous or good, is necessary. False knowledge, eating the wrong thing, leads to death. Scouting is very important for the military. The commander must know the forces, direction, and layout of his enemy. Life and death depend on this. A scout must know the true disposition of enemy forces and relay that to his commander. If the scout underreports the enemys ordering the commander has false knowledge and may lead him into a trap and defeat. General Custer paid with his life and his command for blindness. If the scout exaggerates the enemy forces, then the commander, holds off the attack to build up more forces and may very well lose an opportunity to win. The whole life of the scout is bound by truth and knowledge. Truth and knowledge is the golden mean between the extremes of the under-report and the over-report, between ignorance and exaggeration. Truth and knowledge are essential. They are the difference between life and death. Truth and Knowledge are practically synonomous. The definition of Truth. One cannot know anything unless one has the concept first. This is a Socratic principle. If one does not love, have a zeal, or want truth in their soul, they can never apprehend and know truth in the first place. You gotta want it, to get it. If you dont want it, youll never get it. Truth is the FAITHFUL REPRESENTATION OF REALITY. (2) The Criteria of Truth is consistency. This is stated in Plato's Republic. Socrates uses it all the time. The clearer demonstration is from the Laches a dialogue of Plato on courage (andrea). Socrates: "And I will begin with courage, and once more ask what is that common quality, which is the same in all these cases, and which is called courage?" Noitice the words common quality and "same in all cases". The person would give a definition and then Socrates gives another situation and the person would find out that his definition would not fit this new situation. Then Socrates would ask "Give me a definition of courage that will fit ALL situations that require courage". The person then would discover the REAL definition of courage and then come to real knowledge. An expression of this truth of the criterion of consistency is sent down for the Christian Faith by St. Vincent of Lerins: "What has been believed by all, from the beginning, at all times." This statement encapsulates how the criterion of consistency works in the establishment of truth. Cicero said, "Truth is not one thing in Athens and another thing in Rome. Truth is not one thing yesterday and another thing today." Cicero said that philosophers should be judged by the degree of consistency and coherence which this whole body of doctrine displays. (3) St. Maximos the Confessor said, "One man with the truth is the majority." Truth is not based on mob rule or on opinions. Truth cannot be nullified. If someone says There is no truth. He just stated a truth. Truth does not contradict Truth. That is why Socrates was put to death. For standing for truth. Socrates is rightly called the Founder of Western Culture for it is he who directed men towards truth. Truth is the goal of every man. Socrates says thus: A man must take with him into the world below an adamantine faith in Truth and right (4) The definition of Knowledge. The subject matter of knowledge is being. Knowledge is to know the nature of being. (5) If it exists, we can know it. Knowledge then is what is apprehended from being. Socrates mentions the modality of knowing as to define and divide. (6) The first principle is to define. The principle of identity. A thing is what it is and its attributes. The second, to divide, is Paramenides principle of non-contradiction. A subject cannot have two predicates that are mutually exclusive of each other. A square circle, the living dead. These terms are oxymorons. Knowledge incorporates definition and division from what it is not. Knowledge, then, is in the business of knowing reality; all of it. As for truth and knowledge being practically the same: Truth is had as a property of knowledge when judgement is in harmony with being as it is in reality; otherwise falsity is present. (7) Truth and knowledge are central and the foundation of scouting. The job of Scouting leads to life. The charter does not have the Scout Oath nor the Scout Law in it. The charter is just to set up the Boy Scouts as a Corporate entity. What is required and would be loved by all is the original scouting documents of the founders of the American program. The current mission and vision statements (vision statements come from those marxist five year planning councils corporations and schools go through which are conducted by little socialist hacks) are majorally flawed. They are compromised with 'political correct' language. There is no need for more website material. It is what is at the historical archive section in Irving Texas that is needed.
