It is a simple problem nothing big. It just allowed me ot take my old security number and re register with it under a different user name. With my other web sites I know it is often over looked. No Big Deal just thought he might want to know.

Never mind...Too much Hate here. Everyone talks about being Scout Like as long as they're not talking about themselves. I would like Terry to email me so I can show him how to fix his security problem in the web site.(This message has been edited by The Dude)

OK fine I will quit volunteering with my Troop. Please continue your insults. And I will stop helping the BSA. I will contact the SM tonight thank you for following all the other points of the Scout Law. "It's ME" you are probably Bob White, Boleta or Eamonn...only 33 posts seem about right.

1 more to answer that. Nothing about "myself" kept me out of that troop. I was left a message on my machine after I called and told them I was boyless. I never met with anyone from the troop. They do not allow adults without sons in that troop for obvious reasons. I am currently working in a troop. They seem very happy to have me. And no, I do not concentrate on Politcs and religion. Do Not forget.....Being HONEST is what got me in trouble.

Sir, I did not say a troop rejected me. I also posted that to show I could be civil. I emailed Terry. Hopefully he will reply this time and I can work this out with him. Consider this my last post unless Terry and my fellow Scouts here wouldn't mind giving me a second chance.

I do not talk about religion or politics. More interested in letting the boys making the policy. I do not think the B.S.A will let us make our own uniforms. Plus our age range will be 16-19. I guess the biggest difference between us and the B.S.A is the fact we will concentrate more on self reliance "survival" and not so much on service to the community.

I suppose for the same reasons for different political parties. Green Republican Democrat Libertarian Beseides most people in our community have no interest in the B.S.A.

Thank you for the information concerning Venture Scouts. I want more freedom. I do not like the idea of being controlled by the B.S.A. I think I could start something new and fresh. My boy and I already go on long treks in the summer. We usually bring a couple of his friends. After all his friends from school started coming by the shop and expressed their interest I decided to do some B.S.A research. I am not looking to be big ,just successful! I want to offer the boys in our small community something they're interested in. Even some of the leadership from our local B.S.A troops are showing interest. I am not here to help the world. I am just here to help my community. Why would I want to use the uniforms the B.S.A offers? My Patagonia Rep has offered his help by supplying "Quality" uniforms. Web Site is being worked on. I own a High Adventure Store here in WY.....and I have decided to start my own version of scouting. I think the BSA has gotten stagnant. Our uniforms are in the works. Patagonia has decided to get in and help us. Cargo Pants with Puckerware shirts (Class A) Instead of a Scout Oath and Law we are going to be more like a fraternity with skill courses. We will be based on code rather than law or oath. Each member will have to bring a role to their crew. We are only in the beginning stages. My son works with me here at the store and he has lots of friends interested. Any ideas on a name?
