i would hold off on having a den chief til you get to the wolf level after all you want to keep the parents involved as much as possible and with luck you can pick up a couple of ADL'S along the way.use your parents as much as possible that way they don't become bored and attendance doesn't suffer.

make your self a sign up sheet and charge 10 dollars a head , collect the money and plan your meals accordingly to proportions and servings sizes read your labels they will give you serving sizes by using this method it will keep you on budget and cut down on wast we usually have a cracker barrel on Friday nite and breakfast sat and a lite lunch and great dinner sat evening, and finish off with a lite breakfast on Sunday morning,and as always keep it simple and fun and follow the rules and leave it like you found it........

Archery and BB gun shooting are restricted to day camps, Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camps, council-managed family camping programs, or to council activities where there are properly trained supervisors and all standards for BSA shooting sports are enforced. Archery and BB gun shooting are not to be done at the pack level. Cub Scouts are not permitted to use any other type of handgun or firearm. As I stated previously, there is a way for a pack to do it, just turn it into a district event, as stated above is the correct answer as i have just qualified two weeks ago and packs or not permitted to have a BB or archery event out side of a council managed event.
