The Friends of Camp Mahonegon, Ellamore, WV are once again hosting a reunion of all those who have been associated with the camp over the years. Though no longer used with a summer camp program, the camp is still alive and well with Webelos Camps, Cub Day Camps, Training, OA, and weekend outings. This will be the 7th Annual, held the last Saturday of July. You are welcome to camp on site. Please respond if you are interested, wish to attend, and/or make a donation to the 'Friends' towards the upkeep of this facility.

While attending ArrowCorps5 at GW Jeff, we were given a patch which has all 5 sites listed along with the US Forest Service shield. This patch, and a back patch like it, are available through the OA trading post. I was told that this is a "National Event" patch which can be worn above the right pocket. Others stated that only Jamboree (National and World) patches could be worn above the right pocket (other than organization strip, interpreter, name tag, etc). My 1999 insignia guide indicates that both a World and a National Jamboree patch may be worn at the same time if attended by the individual and doesn't mention anything about "National Event" patches. Do any of the more current issues address this? Is there an official statement from National?
