Cubmaster Chris and I just discussed this podcast on the most recent Scout Roundtable podcast. It is very well done and has some great guest. However, one of the things I like about podcast the personal feeling that you get with the host(s) and guest. This show sounded more like a radio program on public radio. As of June of '06 Cub Scouts are required to earn the Bobcat badge prior to any other rank, including Tiger. So, this years Tigers are the first batch that are required to earn that rank first. I happen to work with a bunch of Cub Scout leaders, all from different districts. When I decided to be Asst. Cubmaster I asked each of them if I could come and visit their pack meetings. They were running things very similarly but one of them really incorporated chants, cheers and yells. The boys really seemed to love this. I took this back to our pack as well as a few other things.
