Oh, I don't think it is in the bag. There are some who will not come out. About people not changine their mind with the debates.. At least in this election it is true. But if you think at least my veiw is not based on analyzing the policies and views of each candidate. Then you need to read the older post. I might dislike Romney for his flip-flopping, say anything to close the deal personality. But, I also know what each canidate is proposing to implement and on Romney's part to take away.. You might not have details, but you can have an opinion on what you like or dislike on the overall plan, the details will not matter accept if not doable. Like I know I don't like removing funding for Green Energy and giving all funding to Natural fuel. I don't need to know the details to the plan. I don't like allowing states to choose how who the will allow to come in an mine their Lands that use to be federally preserved based on how much money they bribe it with.. Also not paying attention to what the other states are doing and considering that all of the state stripping their lands of the forests will leave the whole country barron. I don't need to know the details.. I also do not need to know the details of deregulating Wall Street.. I have lived through the effects of that.

AZMike - I know the mere mention of the Tea Party will make Moosetracker begin to spit on her computer's monitor screen, but like them or not, they quietly are doing the kind of grass-roots neighborhood campaign organization that worked for Obama in 2008 but which he can't seem to pull together now.. TeaParty Pooh, spit -- Seriously, my problem with this statement is the idea the Republicans have more boots on the ground. Strange when even the Republicans on the discussion shows I watch state Obama has really trumped them on this one (At least in the swing states). That they are hoping to get better with it in the next month. Obama has more tons more offices, and also more paid employees. Sounds though like republicans are better for an employee with salary, because the two party seems to spend approx. the same thing. I know personally, I was treated to the Obama boots on the ground. I live out in the country. I am lucky to get my neighbors kids to come to our house for Halloween Trick or treat, even though I offer full size candy bars, which is easy as a purchase of 6 still promises leftovers.. You can walk to neighbors, but for door-to-door you don't park your car on the street and hit the neighborhood and go door to door. You need your car to go from house to house. I have never been visited by an election team in the 23 years of living here.. Yet, I had one this weekend.. I think though it was people volunteering, at least one woman of the two lives in this big house in town your drool over, and stated she is someone who will have her taxes increased under Obama, but sees him as the only choice. I also wouldn't discount the Democrats turning out. Democrats were the group not sitting around seething under an Obama administration, and counting down to election day. But, about two weeks back it was reported that the polls are different this year in that there are very few undecided (4%) 2 wks back. Majority are enthused, and few say they would change their views given new information. Although some of this may be because of the fear of the voter suppression, the other two things showing Obama enthusiasm is that requests for absentee ballots are up this year 2 to 3 times over last year, requestors are significantly higher for those listed as Democrats.. Also those states who have started early voting have seen tons more turn out then past years. Voting is 5 to 1 for Obama.. (The early voting Democrat votes though, may not only be voter suppression fears, but also Obama is pushing people to early vote, and Romney is not.) Democrats also have some comedians and actors who I don't know, but run in the world of our youth, who have put out some terrific videos that have gone viral. These have not only woken up the youth but pumped them up. Come back and see me when you have a story that equals the one of a youth that broke their wrist the day before the President showed up to the campus and he refuse to have it set until after he took part in the event. (Dont know why he couldnt have set it the day before and come the next day with a cast on.) Republicans are motivated by only a hate for Obama, while few really like Romney.. Democrat turn out may be for Obama, but equally many of their turnout will be against something (some a hate of Romney, some a hate of the republican tactics.).. Now for the debates.. BSA24 - I think once the debates start, we'll see a jittery, stuttering Romney vs. the Chicagoland's highly polished spinmeister, and from there it will be over for Romney In my mind I am with you, Obama is just great a great Orator. Romney is robotic and stiff and clunky at everything. BUT- Obamas worst is in debates and Romneys best is in debates. I would also be surprised if Romney does not roll in some new idea, kept under wraps just to offset the President from being knowledgeable enough about it to rip it to shreds. The ripping to shreds will have to come after the debates, once analysis is done and once again the math doesnt add up. Romney needs a game changer to survive Problem is whatever is rolled out will be from a candidate that has flip-flopped so many times he has lost credibility. Also those who have made up their minds rarely change it by watching the debates.. Its like the super bowl. You just come out rooting for your guy, but you dont change loyalties when the other team wins.

Sorry Packsaddle, mistaken identity.. You didn't say it, it was OldGrayEagle.. I don't know what the statue of limitations is on voter fraud but if you want to talk voter fraud you must start with the place where the phrase "Vote early and often" was coined, as in Chicago, a Democratic stronghold since, well, forever It was often said Mayot Richard J Daley, the original "Hizzoner" and not the pale imitation his son became, was responsible for JFK's election in 1960 as the vaults and graves everywhere in Chicago opened and the dead all voted straight Democratic tickets. The advise you give about when Romney wins.. Possibly, but I think it would mean so much cheating in order to fix a 7 to 10% lead, it will be easy to discover.. For example a state with a population of 10,000,000, who has 11,000,000 votes cast. Imagine the teaparty's reaction when Obama wins? There already is a Texas Judge promoting raising taxes in preperation for his one army. He is preparing for if Obama wins and there is a civil war.. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/texas-judge-we-need-to-raise-taxes-to-prepare-for-civil-war-if-obama-is-re-elected/

WAKWIB - Thank-you for having the courage to state there are some Republicans who still are honorable, and believe in a fair Democracy. I know that there are still a few of you still hanging on. To be fair, although packsaddle never stated he didn't feel cheating to win an election was not right. And did start out with an excuse about Democrats did it in the '50's.. He did change to decide to vote for the Libertarian candidate, which I should count as finding something in the Republican party (don't know if it was the election cheating or the choice of Republicans not to be stewards of our environment.) Anyway I will take that as not being comfortable with the Republicans position anymore. I heard we are also winning over alot of hunters who normally would vote Republican for their guns (President promotes more checking and limitint purchase of assault weapons).. But, equal and with some a priorty concern is good wetlands, forest, lakes etc. for hunting in. JoeBob I just count you as in league with Callooh! Callay!.. Would you like to save us the time and effort of the go around, and just double down on agreeing with his remarks? (This message has been edited by moosetracker)

If there is a risk of underpopulation, if the birth rate is too low to sustain the current population level, then yes, there is a need for couples to have more children. Having 4 children is fine, as we are not China, so have no limits. There are people who have more children and others who have no children. But, why do you feel we have to sustain the current population level? Is our current population level required for our survival? Are countries considered superpowers only if they maintain a certain population level? Are you talking about race in maintaining population, such as soon the whites will not be the majority for America, so if we don't increase the birth of white babies, we at least need to maintain the birth level of white babies? Seriously family planning is just fine.. Like others said, it includes alot of education so that hopefully we can encourage birth control and discourge the need for abortions. If education on ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies and scientific advances in contraceptive methods reach a point that abortions are unheard of.. I would be good with that. -

Well until you can proove that this world can feed, shelter and care for the people we currently have. I am happy with families using family planning methods, over the old biblical "Go forth and multiply." We have no need to multiply anymore, so we know longer need couples having 9 or 10 children apiece. -

moosetracker replied to Eagledad's topic in Issues & Politics
The world IS over populated.. Period.. If we were another form of animal it would be open season on us all the time. Life is not about how many people you can cram into every square foot of land. It is also about being able to feed the masses, while also being able to keep a good balance of other things needed to keep this planet earth healthy enough to continue to substain life.. We do not need to become China, where then government starts enforcing only one child per family sanctions.. -
I was wondering when you would quit your babbling rhetoric of lies and show your true colors.. It took a while, but you finally did. Too bad there are not enough ignorant Americans who will blindly follow.

You will find no liberty in a dictatorship or fascist society.

Boy I wish your name was Romney or Ryan, so that I could tout your comment around.. Instead I know it is only the views of the Radical right tea party group which is half of what the republican party has become.. It is why the republican party will die out if it does not rid itself of your radical views.. It is a shining beacon of YES, the Republican party has shifted to be radically right, and no longer can attract independents and is having many people who use to consider themselves Republican now jumping ship.. It is OK to lie and cheat, to win elections. It is OK to remove American freedoms and force everyone to do things are way. It is OK to strip the Federal forest preserves and pollute the oceans, and plunder the country leaving it barron and polluted and inhabitable as long as we can make a profit off of it today. It is OK to lie to the American public about things like weapons of Mass Destruction in order to start wars we should not be in. Or to keep them in the dark about our economic situation until the bottom falls out and you can not hide it any longer.. Call Liberals Socialist, I think I might call your newly founded party a Dictatorship.

I would ask you to show equal examples with proof from news reports from Independents for this election cycle (which is what I am..) But, I will make it easier for you.. Name equal examples with proof from news reports from Democrats for this election cycle So you can't pull from the 1950's as packsaddle tried to do earlier.. And you cant point to conspiracy theories. I would be surprise if you come up totally empty handed.. But, I bet it will be on one or two examples that are small and isolated and only hit local news. We already know Republican laws that is supposed to be to protect against voter fraud, had no history of any past fraud it would be keeping from happening. Your congressman had he been the sole example of cheating going on, would just have hurt himself in his own race, and barely raised an eyebrow except for in the local news.. He is just in national news because he is part of a growing definite trend that points to the overall practices of the modern day Republican party.. If Democrats were doing half of what Republicans were doing, they would be making the news nationwide rather than just local news also. Problem is since you can't look in the mirror, and admit a blemish on your saintly Republican party. You want to tell yourself everyone is doing it.. Your only equaling the playing field.. Transference, it is another form of denial.. Oh yes, and while your at it. Please explain the reasoning behind Republicans adding voter ID laws for non-existing fraud on one hand.. While trying to sell the idea of getting rid of the Voter Rights Act laws that are the laws because they are too constrictive.. Even though these are the laws that can be used to stop the type of voter suppression and voter fraud that the Republicans have been doing ALOT of during this election session.. Why get rid of laws to protect us against the type of voter fraud that is running rampant this election session, but add laws for voter fraud which there is no proof of occuring? You will be happy if Democrats do win enough to keep control of the senate and gain seats in the house.. They will be strengthening the Voter Rights Act, and putting more teeth in it.. I am sure they will find a few honest Republicans to join in with them and vote for it.(This message has been edited by moosetracker)

Here another Republican fraud scandal the Republicans voter ID laws would not have protected against. In Florida David Rivera, a Republican running for congress spent personal money to put a fake democrat in the primary run. He wanted to run against his personally paid fake candidate. His fake candidate lost the primary, so he was up against a real candidate polls showed he was favored to win.. Now he is loosing, and looking at jail time.. He was already be charged with tax evasion, and other suspicious acts. And yes JoeBob, if you look for stories on it, David Rivera claims he is innocent. Case solved for you. I think I will wait for the conclusion of the investigation and trial..

Well I know one country our rich will not flee to if Obama wins. France wants to tax the rich with a 75% super tax.. They may not gripe returning to the pre-Bush tax rates by comparison.
-
JoeBob - If you want to call that as an attack. So be it.. It definately was intended to get your attention and point out your are behaving badly.. I think now I only have one Republican who says it is wrong WAKWIB although it seems to be said sarcastically and not seriously.. All others seem to still be playing the blame game, and the denial game.. WAKWIB - Keep hoping, even our guys say there could be some great unforeseen disastor in the next 30 days to turn this race around, or some tape on Obama, that is as damaging as the 47% and not something 18 years old that says he believes in redistribution which basically is the tax system, and if you play the whole clip has him arguing the pros and cons of it.. But, they think except for that, you guys don't have a chance.. The debates may give you a little bump if Mitt surprisingly does well, but not enough.. Especially with the so few undecided, or decided but could by persuaded to change voters left.. ghjim - I agree with you. If they had a moderate Republican they would be in the lead. I was started the election season open to an alternative choice. (This message has been edited by moosetracker)

Oh, by the way, JoeBob - since you again stated that since the guilty party say they are innocent and point a finger at one person.. Is proof they are definately innocent.. I need to add. The head of this Republican base agency, has been caught before with his hand in the cookie jar.. He's agency was out getting Registered voters. If you checked Republican you registration was kept. If you checked Democrat your registration was shredded.. It was reported by a whistle blower. They denied the charge, but in Florida, Democrats who registered with them went to the polls to find they were not registered. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45755883/ns/msnbc-the_last_word/#49205847 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3096434#49215504 I will wait for the for the findings of the local investigators.(This message has been edited by moosetracker)

Sentinal - you only have one hour to make edits. You time is up.. I think most of us read over it, and our brains just figured out the intended meaning. I didn't catch that.. JoeBob - There you go taking things out of context again.. Not suprising as you probably picked up the trait from you idol Romney. what I said was. To all Republicans in this thread.. Let me tell you that I am ashamed you consider yourself representives for scouting.. I did not expect you to shift your position.. But like Beavah, I at least expected you to admit that in this one area, your party is doing wrong.. Instead, you deny, try to shift the blame, and point fingers at what a party did 50 years back, to say what your party is doing today is therefore valid.. Never accused any of you of verbally supporting it, just that you did not vebally state it was wrong, Everyone of you instead denied it, shifted blame, and finger pointed at old dead history of the Democrats.. In otherwords you all were finding ways to IGNORE the facts, pretend they didn't exist or both sides were equally guilty. And, although I did not state this about the Drivers ID, I did hint at my opinion of it in a back thread.. I don't oppose the ID law accept for the fact Republicans rushed to put it in place, and are insisting that it HAS to be in place for this election. Although they did not leave enough time, or find a way to make it convient for everyone to be able to comply by the time this election starts.. As I stated in a back post, had it been rolled out like we did passports needed for Canada, which I think was a two year window for people to get a passport.. Giving you time to use this election and a few others to check ID's and inform people of the coming law or if an ID they thought would work will not.. Well, then I have no objection to it. Beavah had stronger objection to it, as it is not needed.. When I first heard about the ID law, I thought it fair, until I learned about the games being played by the Republicans to ensure that it would not be fair.. (not enough time, not enough places to get everyone processed, places being inconvient for those who take mass transit. etc..) Also the fact it is only being pushed by Republicans and why it slants to purposly hurt groups that tend to be more Democratic.. Add to the voter ID law, all the other Game playing of Republicans to suppress the vote.. It is clear what it is about.. Also about voter fraud as stated.. If these Dead guys voted, this voter ID law would not have stopped it.. As stated the names could have been put on to stuff the ballot box, or the votes by the dead people could have been though an absentee ballot.. In both cases the ID would have done zilch to stop it.

I am fine with agreeing to disagree. But, since you are not for revoking Roe v Wade, I would say that on that issue we agree politically, we just disagree personally. I have yet to go Democratic, because I still hold on to hope that the Republican will come back to moderate beliefs also.. But, I have to say, from what I see there a 3 times more wingnuts in the the Republican parties these days. As for the Catholic Church and the Health Act.. I still believe the two sides will sit down and come to a compromise. It is just that both sides right now aren't discussing the matter, and wont until after the election.
-
Sorry Sentinal - the scary baby photos for shock value made me forget you were the rare 4% left of undecided voter. So to date then we have No Republicans that will say that voter suppression is wrong, on the Thread.. Just 3 independents. Beavah, Sentenial and myself. The social part is definately when I lean liberal. The fiscal part is when I use to lean Republican when they were fiscal conservatives.. But, I would listen to make sure their opinion against Pro-choice or other social choices was in personal opinion, possibly swinging a judge here or there.. I would not vote for them though if they were going to make there top platform issue. Well in being pro-choice I would respect YOUR decision to be that.. I just would not respect your decision to force everyone to follow YOUR values.. I simply will also respect everyone elses personal opinions. Your veiws sound like you would fit in with the group of Democrats for pro-life, if at some point you decide to vote Democrat rather then Republican.. Perhaps you should look them up, and see who they are.. I only saw one video on them, I doubt though I could find it, as I can't even remember what show, or the approximate time I saw it.

OGE - Personally I say "No".. Flip-Flop is a fish that is caught and is flopping around in the boat, back and forth, up and down. Evolve is a fish (through generations) that slowly changes to adapt to what is around them. Like perhaps slowly changing to get a spot on it's forhead that would attrack his prey to come up close enough for him to catch them.. If Evolve was Flip-flop, then the spot on the fish would appear and disappear, appear and disappear.. If you put this to the flip-flopping Romney does, it wouldn't even be over generations, the fish would have a spot that blinks on and off like a neon sign. ------------------------------------ Sentinel - I will applaud you as being the ONLY Republican so far who has vocally said so far that voter fraud is wrong.. As for Pro-life, we all have different opinions on it.. We accept and respect each others opinions.. Whole meaning behind Pro-choice. Personally, I have no issue of abortion through the first trimester.. After that, I would only think it is right in order to save the life of the mother. I do not see the reasoning behind not preforming the abortion because if the mother dies, the baby still will die.. Save one life, don't kill two. Putting out scary pictures does nothing to change my mind.. I will still respect the woman to be able to make their own personal decisions about their bodies. I will still fight against people making up laws that are primarily based on somebodies religious beliefs being forced on people who do not follow those same religious beliefs. We have others who are Democrates for Pro-life.. But it seems they want government to figure out why they would abort, and have the government take care of their needs in order that they can raise their children. To me that returns us to Welfare Mothers.. --- Republican are said to want to legislate to force our world back to the days of the '50 or '60.. And Andy Mayberry nostalgia.. Well back then one of the fears of electing a Catholic President was they would govern from the advise of the Pope. Basically the Pope factor into our government.. This was NOT wanted then.. But, now you think forcing the Catholic laws upon this whole country is a great idea. Seems like most of the people back in JFK's time and before that would disagree with you..(This message has been edited by moosetracker)

Have your thoughts about the Obama administration hiding their failed foreign policy by blaming a video changed at all? Now that many Democrats, like John Kerry, are starting to ask about the security damage caused by not enacting the 'terrorist protocol' after the attack? If CNN can find the ambassador's journal lying around in the ashes, do you wonder where the hard drives went? JoeBob - why should I? As I proved to you I was following stories out of Washington that there was indications it was a terrorist attack. Many TV & videos repeated the news from that newspaper artical.. Then also a few days after I got to watch video that took us through the bombed out embassy telling us the movements of the terrorists, the weapons used, where people were killed.. I never felt anyone was keeping anything from me. I stayed fully informed.

Frankly I will wait for a review by the the impartial review board, then to jump on the statements of the company who is in the middle of the fraud investigation as pure truth.. me thinketh they might have a reason to lie. Perhaps you might argue there reasoning is to create a case for voter fraud.. Yes we can now state an example of voter fraud. Look at the one we attempted.. But to state a Democrat is behind the fraud of registering dead guys for the republican party is far fetched.. Otherwise I do not credit the ID law as working, I would not be surprised if they would have been used to stuff the ballot box with votes from election official.. Dead Guy need not show up in order to cast vote.. OGE... 1960 is a far reach back in time. I believe that the KKK was still associated to the party when JFK was elected.. It was a very bold move on his part to evolve into the President for the civil rights act given a portion of who his base was.. Anyway, the blacks votes were being suppress, and I am not surprised there was other suppression going on.. That was before the big party switcharoo on what ideas and values each party represented.. You have to say, JFK was brave to evolve on this issue.. Even more so the Obama evolving on the issue of gay rights, because he and his party were pretty much there.. PChadbo - take note, another reason why JFK would still today be a Democrat, even if he just materialized here from a time just before his death. WAKWIB - you must be one of the believers that ALL the polls are ALL wrong.. I expect Obama will still win, because I don't think Republicans counted on having to rig the ballots this much to get Romney to win.. You may steal one or two states, but all swing states are shifting blue, and even some that were solid red have turned to become swing states. I do expect though that there will still be alot of fall out about reports of fraud after the election. I also think alot of bills will be brought to congress that will be about giving the federal government more teeth over voter fraud.. I have heard no specific word on California tampering.. Gov. Jerry Brown is a Democrat.. If you have a good sprinkling of Democrats in your state legistlature has enough Democrats in it to keep them from overriding vetos from you governor chances are you are in fine shape. Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania are the worst. Rebulican Governors and important swing states.. Not only is it being rigged by Governors, it also smells of big money and shady deals going into rigging their elections. NH has a Democratic Governor, who we have had for many terms (not running this year so up in air this election).. We had enough Republicans in Legislature though to overturn his veto. Therefore we got the voter ID law, and the "kick out-of state students out" bills passed.. Know with the out-of-state students, Lynch vetoed it.. Senate over road his veto.. Judge then decided unconstitutional.. I thought we were leaning Republican in the Presidential election. Recent polls showed Obama is now leading by 5.. Perhaps it will help with the down ballot? The only thing I fear is the Republican candidate is spending some money(doubt it is superpack) to get his name up, I don't even see road signs for the Democratic candidate.. Even I have to continually look up who is the democratic candidate is, because she is not putting her name out there. (This message has been edited by moosetracker)

A new case of Republican voter fraud!.. Just found this new article.. I talked about wiping Democrats off the registers by claim they were dead, even though they were very much alive.. This one just in.. #11. Florida.. Adding new Republican registrations to the polls of DEAD people.. http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/27/14126789-rnc-cuts-ties-with-firm-over-voter-fraud-allegations?lite Remember I stated the law just gotten rid of that made new Registrations harder.. Enforced only if you weren't Republican.. When the law finally was kicked out by a judge, the Republicans had a great lead on registering voters, Democrats hadn't barely started.. Well many of those registrations are of DEAD guys.. They are kicking millions of Democrats out, and register Republican DEAD guys.. Who is protecting the election against voter fraud?? Just found out Ohio secretly perged about a million Democrats off their registrations.. They are now also being investigated for fraud.. This is a mess! Just 40 days from elections and Republicans have made a mess and a mockery out of our electorial system. (This message has been edited by moosetracker)

PChadbo - one more thought on the JFK thing and his interest in science. Republican not only want to raid the land of all it's natural resources, to h*ll with reponsible guardianship for future generations, and being protectors of the earth.. But they also want to end the research for green energy alternatives and simply go back to only relying on natural resources.. This is way too close a similarity of JFK and his ambition to go to the moon. He would want to see all our brightest working on scientific projects to figure out great green energy alternatives. Did you know he is listed as # 10 on the list of Green Presidents? .. He helped lay the groundwork for the establishment of the EPA and modern environmental protection laws. I just don't think he would now ignore Global Warming, or not caring to harvest our natural resources with care to not to totally ruin our country for the next generation.. altering his To the moon speech.. But why, some say, the Green Energy? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask why climb the highest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? Why does Rice play Texas? We choose to find green energy. We choose to find green energy in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too Yeah, cheering crowds, standing a ovation.. Nope, unchanged from the 1960's JFK was a Democrat.. He would not have fit into the Republican party at all.. In fact you can say JFK was the founder of what the Democrat party is today. I think he would be proud of it's development.. He would have simply loved the all inclusive members that were at the DNC. He would be happy with their education initive.. He would be thrilled with it's interest in science.
