I have been serving in Travis AFB Pack 150 as a Den Leader for 4 years. We had our Blue & Gold last night combined with our Arrow of Light Ceremony. Last night was my final event with the pack as 9 of my boys bridged to boy scouts. All of them earned the Arrow of Light. What a proud moment for the Boys, their families and myself. We had the local chapter of the Order of the Arrow assist with the presentation. What an awesome ceremony. In the past we did a potluck for Blue & Gold. This Year Outback Steak House catered Steak and Chicken for the adults at $7.50 and Chicken Fingers and Mac for the kids at $5- ea. It was awesome! No more potluck! Now on to Boy Scouts! I have been told that the Red Vest (or Brag Vest) is not to be worn at Formal occasions such as Flag Retirement ceremony's, Relgious Ceremony's and Blue & Gold events. Does anyone have the BSA Regulations on this with source? In Scouting- Kevin (This message has been edited by a staff member.)
