The rest of the world does not view our WOSM dues as donations or voluntary contributions, so they don't see that we have a right to withhold them just because we don't like how they are being spent. On the other hand, it does seem rather clumsy that the BSA had to abruptly withdraw funding, creating the "crisis". Was there no other way to address the issue? No diplomatic solution?
