Bob, Cheap shot! I never siad the FCFY program dosen't work. I only stated I don't use it in my Troop. Not all Troops are "cookie cut". There are many differences. Not all programs work or are designed for all Troops. And until the BSA requires I use the FCFY program, I won't. Sorry if this offends you but just because there is a program available doesn't mean it needs to be used by every unit. Enjoy Philmont. I would love to able to afford to go. Bob, I don't want to beat a dead horse but it seems to me that National either has no statistics on FCFY retention or they don't really care & this is just another program! Bubba, Don't leave! There are many issues brought up on this board that Rooster, OGE and I have very strong felleings about and we air them. We don't always agree but we respect each others right to voice their opinions. A true leader doesn't back down form conflict or debate. Bob, Hacking & stalking are both illegal activities. Hackers can hack into your PC & get information about you. This can lead to stalking. I took Scoutmaster Fundamentals in 1992, was Scoutmaster of Scoutmaster Fundamentals in 1997. Attended Woodbadge - Eagle Patrol - in 1995 and completed my ticket in 1996. I was a memeber of our District Training Staff from 1993 to 1997 and served as a staff member on Scoutmaster Fundamentals & LLT. For weekend camping trips, we rarely take our class A's unless the schedule dictates we need them. We do require the Scouts & adults travel in their class B's. In our case, that would be our Troop 1 t-shirts. When we go to summer camp we do require all in attendance to bring their class A uniforms. Dial-up modems do sometimes change the IP address. However, if the hacker has a ping program then the hacker can ping your PC & get the correct IP. A firewall is the only protection you have. For family night, we have had chicken brought in, pizza, etc. We always ask the parents to bring a salad, side or dessert. This year we are deep frying 2 17 lb turkeys! Every year, I come up with a letter for the Scouts in my Troop to send home. It goes something like this. Hi, I am having (fun, gas, weird dreams). My tent is (burning, clean, in the lake). I think you get the idea. This is getting a little tired & I am looking for any suggestions to iprove on this letter.
