Dan, A true atheist belives God doesn't exist so an atheist can't believe in God. Avowed or not a homosexual is still a homosexual and immoral. I don't judge people by their posts here. Most of the time they are opinions. I don't always agree with Bob White but I'm not judging him. Without proof FOG, yaworski & zorn are the same people you are judging each one of them. You may not like their posts and that's OK. I know my posts are not always enjoyed by all & I'm sure you could say the same thing about yours. I pull no punches. You can ask anyone who know me about my honesty & direct approach. He** is not what I would consider a very Scoutlike word used in the context you did. If this were a religious discussion, it would be more appropriate. Since you don't know me (I think) you could only think I am not a good Scouter by what I have posted here. Therefore judging me. I don't know if you are a good Scouter or not. I think you probably are but I don't know for sure because I have never seen or heard about the way you run your unit or work with Scouts. I do know some of the people on this board are good Scouters because I know them or have worked with them or have heard from reliable sources they are good Scouter. Dan, You are making a judgement from what you read on this board right? There are those on this board who also think gays as well as athiests in Scouting are OK. Are they fine upstanding Scouters? Mark Yaworski posted his opinion. He was honest in his opinions. He might have not always been friendly courteous or kind but then we all err from time to time. Not unlike yourself in your last post. The use of vulgarity on your part is not Scoutlike and suggesting I pick friends poorly is not very Scoutlike. But I don't think you should be banned. Sounds like because his opinions difer from your own or maybe because he has the stones to post what he feels makes it un-Scoutlike to you. Maybe. WOW! Go to camp for a week and look what happens! Bob, I know you & I don't see eye to eye (I made a rhyme!) on a lot but I enjoy your posts. We're back. The weather was lousy but still had a great week at camp. The Troop did good & the counselors were good. Drove right past the 84 guys place on the mountain. I've been in his new outdoor store. Over the top is the only way I can describe it. Rooster7, I would say what you heard is true. Heritage is a great place. SM406, What site at Liberty? Came home yersterday from camp. Other than the weather, we had a great week. Advance On, sawa your son. He was doing a fine job. So we went with a provisional patrol with an existing patrol leader. And guess what! He did a great job! Not all the Scouts in the provisional patrol elected this PL, but they all followed him. I had more problems with my SPL than the PL. Did this provisional patrol elect it's PL? No Did this provisional patrol follow the leader they had? Yes. It can work. All in all, the week was great! Ed Mori Scoutmaster Troop 1 1 Peter 4:10

silver, You were correct. Thanks for clearing that up. Were the Scouts of these parents there? I would take the total amount made & divide by the number of Scouts present, NOT the parents. Gotta remember fundraiser are for the benefit of the Scout and Troop, NOT THE PARENTS. This isn't a personal savings accout so the parents don't have to pay for anything! It is an account for the Scout to help pay his way in Scouting. Me thinks THRIFTY applies here.
