Must be snipe hunting season! matuawarrior put it very well. "My" designates membership in. When I refer to "my Troop" I mean the Troop I am a member of. There is nothing wrong with taking ownership. Some posters seem to think because they don't use the word "my" they are not falling into the "control" thing. Webelos were once allow to participate in Boy Scout camporees. Now they can't. In my district, there were always a lot of Webelos at camporees. And they stayed with the program into Boy Scouts at a greater rate! National seemes to feel Boy Scout camporees are not safe for Webelos. Why? Ed Mori A blessed Christmas to all! 1 Peter 4:10

We have done what scoutldr does with the cuss jar. The only difference is you can't pre-pay & insults also cost a quarter. We started using this at summer camp three years ago & the amount in the jar has consistently diminished. Ed Mori A blessed Christmas to all! 1 Peter 4:10

Well, basketball and soccer are year round in my area. Volleyball is getting that way, too. If they want to play & not ride the bench or maybe not make the team, the kids need to be there as much a possible. I don't think this is a good thing but that's the way it is.
