What a great idea!! I think this is a great way to bring Scouting's message to America. Many troops & packs will be able to track your progress through you the country. I'd like more information on Scouting America and will contact you via your e-mail. Wouldn't it be interesting to link up with troops along the way for day hikes? If I remeber my hiking trips, meeting new friends took away the boredom that you sometimes feel when hiking for such a long time. And many times, their food tastes a lot better! I hope to hear more about your trip in the future.
