    • I've looked online at how to get someone set up as a Lone Scout, and will call our Council for further info, but had a couple questions for anyone who may have had a scout in a similar situation as what we have.  This scout was part of our Troop last year, but moved back to Ecuador.  He will be returning/visiting from time to time and wants to be involved with the Troop as much as possible.  He's one of our older scouts and has always been a great help. He easily has one of the best attitudes and most positive outlooks I've seen in a young man.  Looking for suggestions as to what we can have him do, and whether he can have any type of POR with the Troop.   He's currently in the States, and will be here until Feb. 18th, if that matters.  The scouts are reorganizing their Patrols tonight.  My thought is that it can't hurt to let him join a Patrol, even though he isn't formally a member of our Troop anymore.  There's not a lot of information I've found so far about what goes for this kind of situation.
    • We recently discovered and resolved an issue that had been preventing new users from signing up on Scouter.com. Thanks to @SCOUTER-Terry for their swift response in fixing this! If you’ve recently invited others to join and they had trouble signing up, they can now create accounts without any issues. Thanks for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming more scouters around the campfire! @MattR @RememberSchiff
    • Well, maybe? Not really? Have you been in the same council? Scouting IDs are not portable, so to see my eagle (and NESA life), I had to find my youth ID. Pretty neat they had it from 1990. Other registrations? No.
    • Is there a source online to see historical adult registration?  Started leading Tigers in 20xx?  Looking to fill out my 25 (maybe 30?) Veteran Application TIA   w
    • @MattR, thanks for all of your valuable contributions. My two grandsons (who I affectionately name Thing 1 and Thing 2) are incredibly entertaining. They suck up time in a very good way. On the other hand, this class of troop parents are some of the most enjoyable, our teens are appreciative, and it’s fun to pass on skills. So I have stepped back to allow others to step up. But the troop gives me great opportunities to get away from the family. As I was backpacking with them last weekend, each time we passed a mile marker, I’d shout “another mile down and I haven’t heard anybody added to the holiday honey-do list!”
