    • Tim Kosnoff is an attorney and he called it a b.s. settlement (he actually called it “sellout” not a settlement. Fools believed the unbelievable. A “substantial” majority of survivors voted to approve it.    If you voted for it, look in the mirror for who to blame. Of course, those lawyers were lying. But it was all there in black and white. What a fool believes—he sees.
    • Key word:  Lawyers.  Enough said.
    • It is too early to tell, but in our council, there is indication that we are slowly seeing the trench workers taking charge.  Out pro, is not one really, though a nice person with I think good intentions.  But, putting things out publicly and following up are very slow or not happening.  Our council website is an embarrassment in that it has mostly dead links and so does little to help if someone goes to it.  The notice of the final sale of our now lost camp has still not been noted, and so some of those dead links relate to it.  Somehow, we are continuing, and historically it is again on the backs of the volunteers, though reality is that community support is still there if Council pays attention and makes the effort.  But just begging for money is not what is needed.  JMHO of course,
    • Manpower is down everywhere. The only solution is to start recruiting from cubs on up to district. Hard, and take time.
    • Statistically  speaking the month picked does not matter as long as the long term trend is tracked on the same date. If SA has always used 12/31 as the date for the data point, continuing to use it will show the long term trend; we can't let ourselves get befuddled in the month-to-month membership numbers. We might not get a clear picture of the membership direction until we have 36 months under this new membership renewal system. 12/31/2027 might be the day that we really know what is going on year-over-year.
