Just saw this pop into my email: https://www.buckkniv...collection/bsa/

These look pretty awesome. I'm a big fan of Buck to begin with, and I have just about every knife in their Vantage line. And the Spitfire is a great little scout knife. I actually gave one to my nephew when he crossed over and joined a troop.

The only thing I wish they didn't do on these is put that plastic edging around the Vantage handles. They used to make them solid material all the way to the edges. So a knife like the BSA one with the rosewood handles, they would have been fully wood on each side. Now they're part wood, part plastic.

Still won't stop me from getting one, though. :)

A couple years ago, I ordered one of their Eagle scout knives.   Very professional staffers on the phone, fast shipment, and it's a darn nice knife.

Hearken world, and listen up! There is no such word as "Webelo." If your son is an older Cub Scout, he is NOT a "Webelo!"

The singular of Webelos Scout is ... WEBELOS SCOUT!  That's it! Please take the extra half second and get it right! Thank you for indulging my little pet peeve!

Did I mention my obnoxious OCD?  :D
