AZMike 173
Today is the feast day of St. George, the patron saint of the Scouting movement. Lord Baden Powell wrote a rhyme to honor the day: My warmest good wishes I am sending to you And hoping that the winter is throughYou will start out afresh to follow the leadOf our Patron Saint George and his spirited steed; Not only to tackle what ever may befall,But also successfully to win through it allAnd then may you have an enjoyable spellOf hiking, and jolly good camping as well. Sentinel947 1205
I have a very large picture of St. George slaying the dragon that I found at a garage sale. With St. George being the patron Saint of Scouting, I couldn't pass it up.

AZMike 173
Actually April 23 is the feast day of St. George. Yeah, I was a day late. Noticed that after I posted. Still worth commemorating, though.
