Sir, with all due respect: I believe Sir Baden-Powell never attended or passed a BSA Class on "Leave no trace".

berliner, He also didn't live in a time where land managers could potentially ban outdoor activities if they degrade too much of the environment. BP loved nature. I have no doubt he would approve of Leave No Trace. "As a Scout, you are guardian of the woods." Baden-Powell-Campfire Yarn #16

I learned today my Scoutmaster passed away early this morning. I've been asked to speak at his funeral. Thank you for posting this, SSS. It is perfect. TwoCubDad
