Grayhawk 10 Posted July 25, 2002 Share Posted July 25, 2002 Developed this 'Minute' with another Scouter at a training session. Right after 9 /11 I knew that my Scouts would be asking many questions as youngsters often do. In an effort to be ready for them I thought about what has happened after 9 / 11. I noticed that afterwards, everyone in the USA (& world wide) were doing all they could to help the victims of that tragic day - ie... They were all 'DOING GOOD DEEDS" -ever hear that phrase before? The leaders of the world also vowed that measures would be taken to ensure acts of this type would not continue. That in the future we would - "BE PREPARED" - Sound familiar? I then realized that everyone was comming around to the Scouting way of thinking and that Scouting as an organization has always been on the right path. Hopefully this kind of thinking will spread and the future will be a better place because of the Path that Scouting has sent people on. Link to post Share on other sites
