A "twofer" this evening
On Committee review of Eagle Projects: While the Committee should not turn
down a project without good reason I think it's their responsibility to
offer suggestions & advice (some comments seemed to suggest otherwise). I've
seen projects much improved by a few comments like: "Are you sure that ---
is the right way to go?", "Have you considered...?" "Perhaps you should
talk to ..." and so on. There's a lot of good experience on some
Committees. Isn't that why the Committee needs to approve it, anyway?
On the dress & appearance of the Eagle candidate at the BoR: If we are
asking the candidate to appear well-dressed should we not hold the Committee
to the same standards--full uniform or business suite?
And a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
