There are quite a few ways to do this.
A Good Conduct candle works with some groups. You get a long burning
candle and light it when the meeting starts. If the boys act up it gets put
out. When it has burned all the way down they get a special treat...maybe
an ice cream or pizza party....maybe an activity that they enjoy a lot, etc.
Another way is to make a Code of Conduct poster. Let the boys help make the
rules and sign them at the bottom. Make up a set 'punishment' for each
infraction...for example...first time they have to sit out for 5
minutes....second time they do not get to participate in the next
activity...third time their parents are called..possibly as far as fourth or
fifth time they cannot come to the next meeting. Hopefully it would never
have to go that far.
Hope this helps.
