Thanks to all on Eagle Board Question

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My son was signed off on his project by his troop today! The advancement
chair
(on his own) must have read the application 'cause he told my son if he
leaves
for the Marines before his Board of Review, he can have it when he is
home on
leave! This is quite a turn around...same man said "no way, etc...."

I did speak with the DE for my district and he essentially said as a
thank you
to me (I am roundtable commish, etc. for district) he will personally
walk
Steve's paperwork through all the channels and make sure his Board is done
("hopefully") before he leaves for Parris Island.

I stand corrected. Yes, there is only one Board of Review. What our troop
does
is work on the write up, helping the boys in making sure everything is
where it
should be. They also "practice" questions that could be asked on the real
BOR.
I apologize for calling this a Troop BOR. Mea culpa.

Thank you again, for the wonderful suggestions and all the support!

The Mom of an Almost Eagle Scout!
